Meanings according to Rider-Waite:
ASTROLOGICAL SIGNIFICANCE: The Moon in Taurus as a symbol of a sober view of things, fruitful labor, and family closeness.
QUEEN OF DISKS The Queen of Disks, personifying the feminine side of the element of earth, signifies sobriety, kindness, reliability, realism, industriousness, fertility and fruitful labor, warmth of heart, and sensual joys. She possesses a natural instinct and love for the earth, which is most vividly manifested in the image of a peasant woman. Moreover, she has a "deft hand" with material goods, as the rough but good-natured image of the sutler — Mother Courage from B. Brecht's play of the same name — reminds us. She is also a caring mother of many children, a talented actress or artist, or simply a sensual nature who derives true pleasure from the simplest joys of life. But here too moderation is needed, otherwise the above-mentioned positive qualities will turn into disappointment or inertia, laziness, and a craving for nothing but pleasures.

QUEEN OF PENTACLES THE QUEEN OF PENTACLES usually symbolizes a woman (though not always), prosperous and possessing solid property. This is a person who is morally sound, enjoying her position, while at the same time not having lost the ability to take pleasure in life's delights. THE QUEEN OF PENTACLES often symbolizes luxury and the utmost degree of comfort. She is noble. Connected with this card are such concepts as reliability, free conduct, free expression of one's thoughts, stateliness, dignity, and benefactions (which the QUEEN may shower upon others). In principle, the QUEEN OF PENTACLES may signify a wealthy person who has not lost her mercy and is therefore inclined toward philanthropy.
UPRIGHT POSITION Astrological equivalents: Taurus, Jupiter in Taurus, Second House. A woman bringing into the world that which fills her. This may be a nursing mother, a woman keeping the house. In a broader sense — the Motherland, some locality where you feel at home (or a philosophy, a circle of people where you feel good). The card may also symbolize everything connected with the cultivation of the soil, with gardening. The ability to express oneself in form.
REVERSED POSITION Astrological equivalents: Taurus (Moon exalted), Cancer (Mars in fall). The reversed QUEEN OF PENTACLES symbolizes a person buying "dead souls": her prosperity is inflated. She is a hoodwinker. The reversed QUEEN OF PENTACLES may signify a suspicious personality, rather irresponsible, perfidious, and inclined toward intrigues. It is dangerous to trust her — she may let you down. Sometimes the QUEEN OF PENTACLES (reversed) symbolizes a person riddled with complexes, the hysterical type (though this may also be a male representative), panic-stricken with fear of failure and therefore utterly devoid of spontaneity in their actions.
If the card represents an action. A. Upright card The process begun by the situation personified by the KING OF PENTACLES receives its further development in the situation connected with the QUEEN OF PENTACLES. The process that has been initiated has already passed the stage of inception and is now in a state of filling out, drawing material for its formation from the surrounding environment.
B. Reversed card The process for which the KING OF PENTACLES could have served as a beginning was never even conceived. The situation was not used to its full extent. At the same time, the possibility of the birth of the process, the possibility of "conception," is not yet exhausted, and therefore one should carefully study the situation presented by the subsequent cards and, if there is a need, take advantage of it.
